We are friendly Monsters.

These are the bottoms to  a cute set of pj's that I am making for my older son.  I love the monster print!  Isn't it so fun?  The monsters all have speech boxes saying things like "We are friendly monsters!"  and "I am hairy monster." or "I am bat monster."  Seriously. So. Cute.  But they are monsters, so he'll (hopefully)think they are cool. (p.s. he's six.)
Like my contrasting band?

Yeah, that was a happy accident.  I had finished them with just a regular rolled casing and then looked at the rise and realized that S's fanny would be hanging out MAJORLY if I didn't do something to fix that.  Thus the contrasting band.  That puppy gave me an extra 2 1/2 inches in the rise.   But, see, it doesn't show my oops on the outside, so it looks like I planned it. ;)

All folded up.  Can't wait to add the shirt to go with it.
I'll share the shirt as soon as it's done.  What are you making for Christmas?

I made some cute fleece scarves for Christmas. Very simple, but it felt good to do something kinda crafty. :)
